摘要:
以交叉口运行效率为目标,运用概率论、排队论和交通流理论对信号交叉口左转车道的设置依据进行研究.假设车流到达率服从泊松分布,根据左转与直行车辆的相互作用过程和运行特性,推导了无信号交叉口左转车道设置的左转交通量阈值表达式.根据信号交叉口与无信号交叉口的不同,建立信号交叉口左转车道设置准则模型,并讨论模型中的关键参数:受左转影响的直行车停车概率的限值和左转穿越对向车流的临界间隙.对典型情况模拟计算,对计算结果分析得出信号交叉口设置左转车道左转交通量的变化规律.该研究为左转车道的设置提供了定量化依据.
Abstract:
Left-turn lane guidelines for signalized intersections were studied by synthesis utilization of probability theory,the theory of queen and traffic flow theory. The study objective is operation efficiency. The interaction between left-turn vehicles and through vehicles and their operation characteristics were analyzed. The equation of left-turn threshold volume for left-turn lane installation at unsignalized intersections was derived. The traffic flow arrival rate was supposed as Poisson distribution.A left-turn lane guidelines modal for signalized intersections was established in view of its differences from unsignalized intersections. Two key parameters were discussed. One is the stop probability of through vehicles influenced by left-turn vehicles,and the other is the critical gap. Simulation and calculation were done for general conditions. The numerical simulations show variation laws of left-turn threshold volume for left-turn lane installation. The main influence factors of left-turn lane installation contain opposing volume,approach lane number,operation speed,cycle length and split etc. The left-turn threshold volume for left-turn lane installation drops along with the vehicle operation speed enhancement. It also decreases with the opposing volume increment,and the variation rate presents reduction tendency. It increases respectirely with the increasing cycle length,split and approach lane number,and the differences become more and more obscure with the opposing volume increment. This study presents quantitative guidelines for left-turn lane installation at signalized intersections.
