应用时间分辨的衰减全反射傅里叶变换红外光谱技术,分别跟踪水与甲醇在磺化聚醚砜(SPES)质子交换膜中的吸附扩散行为,研究水、甲醇与SPES的相互作用及变化.结果表明,水和甲醇在扩散过程中与磺化聚醚砜膜形成3种不同状态的羟基,一种与磺酸基团-SO3H形成氢键,另两种是水分子之间形成的较弱氢键、较强氢键形式.与水浸泡的SPES膜相比,气相扩散过程中水分子之间更多地形成了较弱氢键,-OH伸缩振动吸收峰红移65 cm-1,同时-OH弯曲振动吸收峰蓝移.甲醇在SPES膜扩散中,表现出类似性质,但-OH伸缩振动吸收峰红移较弱,约为12cm-1.这种具有较弱氢键的水分子更容易与质子形成水合质子,有助于质子在SPES膜中的跃迁与传递.
Abstract:
The time-resolved study of diffusion process of water and methanol into sulfonated poly(phenylene oxide) membrane was performed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy with attenuated total reflection accessory (ATR-FTIR). Results indicated that three kinds of hydrogen bonds were formed during water diffusing into SPES membrane. They located at 3 620 cm-1(the hydrogen bond with -SO3H),3 380 cm-1 (the weaker hydrogen bond among H2O) and 3240 cm-1 (the stronger hydrogen bond among H2O). Compared with the SPES membrane dipped in water,the peak at 3 380 cm-1 increased and at the same time the peak at 3 240 cm-1 decreased. The peak of -OH stretching vibration bands shifted to the higher wavenubmer,while the peak of -OH in-plane bending vibration bands shifted to the lower wavenumber. Formation of weaker hydrogen bond favored the formation and transfer of hydrated protons. The diffusion process of methanol was similar. Compared with H2O,the value of movement to higher wavenumber was less due to the effect of methyl group on hydrogen bond.
