摘要:
利用密度泛函理论和非平衡格林函数相结合的第一性原理方法,研究金属Al-C4-Al导线的泵浦效应.通过在左右铝电极靠近散射区C4链的对称位置上加交变的弱泵浦势,得到绝热近似条件下泵浦电流与费米能的关系,发现泵电子流与系统的态密度密切相关,在不同费米能级下泵浦电流可正可负,其正负取决于电子发射率.
Abstract:
Based on density functional theory(DFT) and Non-equilibrium Greens function approach,the carbon chain parametric pump was studied by ab initio method. The carbon chain was sandwiched between two metallic aluminium electrodes and two gates with alternative weak voltage were added at the symmetrical positions of left lead and right lead. Under adiabatic approximation and in weak pumping regime,the nonequilibrium Greens function was expanded to the first order of pumping forces by treating the pumping potential as a perturbation and the relationship between pump current and Fermi energy was obtained.Results show that the pump current depends on the density of states and the direction of current depends on the overlap of emissivity in a whole period.
