摘要:
QoS、安全性、移动性和高速传输是支持多媒体宽带通信无线局域网技术迅速发展的内在动力. 在业界制定的无线局域网标准中最具代表性的是ETSI BRAN的HIPERLAN/2和IEEE802.11a,这些系统都支持在5 GHz的无线频段中提供高达54 Mb/s的信道传输速率. 评述了HIPERLAN/2和IEEE802.11a标准,分析了两种协议在煤质访问控制和物理层上的异同.
Abstract:
At present, WLANs supporting broadband multimedia communication are being developed and standardized around the world. Quality of service, security, mobility and highthroughput is the key components that promote the development. Standards HIPERLAN/2 defined by ETSI BRAN and 802.11a defined by the IEEE provide the channel adaptive data rates being up to 54Mbps in the 5 GHz radio band. The differences between these two standards (especially in MAC and physical layer) are analyzed and discussed.
