本文提出实验上测定电子等离子体柱内的正离子密度的方法,结果表明,为了在朋利(Penning)放电中获得一个几乎是纯电子的电子等离子体,须有非均匀的束缚磁场。文章还讨论了等离子体的温度甘离子密度的影响.
Abstract:
Experimental measurement of the positive Ion dynamic concentration is Presented. The results show that nonuniform confining magnetic field is necessary to achieve an almost pure electron plasma in a Penning discharge, The effect of the plasma temperature on the ton concentration Is also discussed,
