本文介绍了一个正在北京西苑饭店运行和使用的饭店计算机管理系统。在国内，这是首次采用NESTAR (PLAN4000)微型机局部网络，将饭店内十六个工作部门、二十个工作站有机地联系起来，实现饭店前台服务管理工作自动化的系统。本文叙述了该系统的构成、特点以及各模块的主要功能。
Abstract:
This paper describes a microcomputer local-network hotel management system, which is now operating in Xiyuan Hotal, Beijing. The NESTAR (PLAN4000) local network system, the first of its kind employed in China, links up the 16 departments and 20 service stations of the Hotel, and brings about the computerlization of the front office management. The paper also gives a detailed account of the system, including the configuration, special features, as well as the function block diagrams of respective modules.
